His quote was very competitive, and the work his team did over the course of two weeks was nothing less than exceptional.  After purchasing a new (to us) home, we have had a new front door, new fence, new blinds, new closets, and new flooring put in.  By far the best of these projects was the landscaping and retaining wall that Ridge put in.  On time, on budget, and a level of craftsmanship which shows his team sweats all of the small details that lots of other contractors would cover up with duct tape and caulk. Contracted with Ridge on referral from my structural engineer for a challenging steep slope/critical area retaining wall and drainage project. Very difficult access, demo, and materials mgmt. issues as well as scary proximity to newly constructed deep deck footers. Got a detailed and comprehensive plan for the entire hill within days and signed a contract, thinking a permit would be months away.  Britt pulled a permit in 30 days, started a couple weeks later and wrapped the project in 7 days. The crew had exceptional skill, confidence, and problem solving ability, and worked through rain and extreme heat. The quality and precision of the work was outstanding and the crew showed great respect for the house, the yard, and the family, making a great effort to restore the grounds better than before, despite a tremendous amount of earth moving and carpentry. Ridge brings a high bar of professionalism, from design to bidding to office support, to talented hardscape labor, to relationships with the county and inspectors - all of this has great value to me. I have used Bay Ridge for multiple projects at my house and love the results. They helped with leveling my yard and installing a drainage system that turned my swampy back yard into a flat and dry yard! The next project was a paver patio and mulching my flower beds. Bay Ridge Landscaping and Design has been maintaining my property for the past five years. I have used them for monthly maintenance as well as repairing retaining walls and refreshing my stone pool deck. Every project the undertake is completed extremely well. They are extremely responsive and customer focused. Bay Ridge have done big and small projects at my house multiple times. They always do very high quality work and have helped me transform an unmanageable jungle into a functional and beautiful outdoor space. The client I am giving the review for is 84 and can not mow the lawn.  The lawn is only in the front of the house, the remainder of the yard is woods and ivy.  They charged almost 300 dollars per cut, instead of the 65 dollars because they had to use push mowers. never pruned the bushes, and left weeds coming up through the walkway.
